What This Group Is….
This 4-week virtual skills group is designed for adults who want practical tools to better understand and manage intense emotions, stress, emotional reactivity, and overwhelm.
Using evidence-based DBT-informed skills and strategies, participants will learn healthier ways to respond to emotions, improve self-awareness, reduce impulsive reactions, and build emotional resilience in everyday life.
This is a structured, supportive, skills-focused group that combines practical education, discussion, and real-life application of emotional regulation tools.

Week 3: Managing Emotional Reactions
Develop skills to pause, slow down reactions, and respond more effectively during emotional situations.
Week 4: Building Emotional Resilience
Learn tools for navigating stress, relationships, and emotional challenges more effectively long-term.
This group is educational and skills-focused and is not a substitute for emergency or crisis services.
This is not a comprehensive DBT program and does not include between-session coaching or crisis support.
Participants may benefit from ongoing individual therapy or psychiatric care in addition to the group.
Important Information
Do I need to be an established patient?
No. Individuals outside of the practice are welcome to apply for enrollment.
Is this group therapy?
This is a structured DBT-informed skills group that includes psychoeducation, practical coping skills, and group discussion.
Is insurance accepted?
At this time, the group is self-pay only.
Will sessions be virtual?
Yes. Sessions will be held virtually through a secure HIPAA-compliant platform.
