About Landing Well Psychiatry

At Landing Well Psychiatry, we believe that healing happens when you feel seen, supported, and grounded in your own story.
Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps you not just survive—but land well in your life.

Founded by Jen Lander, PMHNP-BC, Landing Well Psychiatry is a modern practice serving individuals across Ohio. We specialize in treating eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and co-occurring conditions through a holistic lens—one that honors your mind, body, and environment.

We understand that mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we take the time to truly know our patients—collaborating to create individualized treatment plans that integrate medication management, lifestyle strategies, and meaningful conversation. Whether you’re navigating burnout, recovery, or rediscovering balance after a major life shift, our approach is rooted in both science and humanity.

Our goal is simple: to help you find steadiness, clarity, and peace—so you can thrive with confidence in who you are and where you’re headed.

Because healing isn’t just about getting back on your feet. It’s about landing well..

About Jen Lander, PMHNP-BC

Jen Lander is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings compassion, clinical expertise, and over seven years of experience to her work in mental health care.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 2018 and has been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since then. Jen began her career in geriatric psychiatry, providing care for older adults in nursing home settings across Northeast Ohio. After a year working with that population, she transitioned into the field of eating disorder treatment, where she has since dedicated her practice to supporting individuals in higher levels of care — including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.

Most recently, Jen served as the Director of Psychiatric Services for the Cleveland-area network of The Emily Program, overseeing psychiatric care across multiple levels of treatment.

Through Landing Well Psychiatry, Jen continues her commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves — mind, body, and life.

Outside of her work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, who keep her busy with their active involvement in sports. She finds balance and renewal through time outdoors — walking in nature, hiking in the woods, and being near the water. She’s an avid reader who loves both personal development books and mystery thrillers, and she has a passion for decorating her home, especially for the changing seasons and holidays.
